World Bank ne rawan maali saal 2024-25 ke dauran Pakistan ki GDP growth 2.8% rehne ki peshgoi ki hai. Is se pehle IMF ne bhi Pakistan ki GDP growth ki rate 3% rehne ki forecast ki thi.
World Bank ne apni World Economic Outlook Report 2025 jari karte hue is forecast ko share kiya. Report me Pakistan ki GDP growth ko June 2024 ke muqablay mein 0.5% behtari dikhayi gayi hai, jab ke IMF ka andaza 3% aur hukumat ka 3.6% hai.
Report ke mutabiq, agle maali saal Pakistan 3.2% ki growth rate ke sath taraqqi karega, lekin Pakistan ki growth rate region ke muqablay mein sab se kam rahegi. India mein 6.7%, Bhutan mein 7.2%, Maldives mein 4.7%, Nepal mein 5.1%, Bangladesh mein 4.1%, aur Sri Lanka mein 3.5% growth ki forcast ki gayi hai.
World Bank ki report ke mutabiq, February ke intekhabaat ke baad ghair yaqini soorat-e-haal mein kuch kami hui hai, aur 2021 ke baad pehli martaba 2024 mein mehngai single digit par aa gayi hai. Is dauran Pakistan ke Foreign exchange reserves mein bhi izafa hua, jo ke sakht maali aur Monetary policies par amal daramad ka nateeja hai.
Report ke mutabiq, moderate mehngai se karobar aur sarmaiyakaron ka trust barhega. Pakistan mein 2026 tak per capita income kamzor rehne ka khatra hai. Report me ye bhi forecast ki gayi hai ke Pakistan, Bangladesh, aur Sri Lanka mein per capita income kamzor rehne ka imkaan hai. Halanke Pakistan aur Bangladesh mein qarzon par sood ki adayiagi mein izafa hoga, aur qarz ka GDP ke hisaab se hisa dheray dheray kam hoga.
World Bank ne apni report mein kaha hai ke agar is dauran reforms mein dair hui to Economic activities par asar ho sakta hai. Corona wabaa ke baad Food insecurity aur berozgaari mein izafa hua hai.
