Pakistan ne United Arab Emirates (UAE) ke saath aik framework agreement approve kia hai, jis ke through Karachi ke mazeed 2 ports terminals, jin mein aik new multipurpose cargo terminal ki development bhi shamil hai, UAE ko de diye jayenge.
Ye decision aik meeting mein liya gaya tha, jis ki chairmanship Federal Minister for Finance Ishaq Dar ne ki thi.
Is agreement ke according, UAE company Abu Dhabi Ports 11 se lekar 17 number berths ko first five years tak ke liye 2 cargo terminals ki management and development ka kam karegi.
Ye terminals food, commodities cargo ko handle karenge and Pakistan International Container Terminal (PICT) ki facilities ko upgrade bhi kia jayega.
Ye Pakistan ki second major seaport terminal deal hai jo UAE ke saath Pakistan ne 2 months ke andar sign ki hai.
