ISLAMABAD: Report ke mutabiq, life insurance sector ne industry mein likhi gayi gross premiums ka 68% hissa rakha, jabke non-life sector ka hissa 32% tha.
2022 mein industry ke total assets 14.5% izafa kar ke PKR 2,114 billion se PKR 2,421 billion tak pohnche. Gross premium bhi 28% izafa kar ke PKR 432 billion se 2021 mein PKR 553 billion tak pohncha.
Insurance Commissioner, Aamir Khan, ne stakeholders se collaboration ki crucial need ko adress kia aur challenges jaise motor third party insurance, kam agricultural aur livestock insurance, bay-efficiency taxation regime, aur limited technology use ko hal karne par zor diya. Khan ne ek mutually agreed long-term strategic direction ka bhi mashwara diya.
