ISLAMABAD: Securities and Exchange Commission of Pakistan (SECP) ne Digital Asset Management Services (DAMS) ke liye Digital Asset Management Companies (Digital AMCs) ke liye naye rules jaari kar diye hain.
SECP ne S.R.O. 1438(I)/2025 ke zariye Non-Banking Finance Companies aur Notified Entities Regulations, 2008 mein tabdeeli ki hai. Naye regulations ke mutabiq, “Digital Platform” se murad wo tool, application, software, ya solution hai jo Digital AMC, investor/unitholder aur doosre parties ke darmiyan digital ya IT interface ka istemal karta hai. Isme mobile apps, web portals, internet channels, digital distribution platforms aur supplementary support services shamil hain.
Naye procedure ka taalluq un Digital AMCs se hai jo DAMS aur digital services provide karte hain ya karna chahte hain. Ye requirements un tamam Digital Platforms par apply hongi jo Digital AMCs ke zariye administer, manage, ya own ki jaati hain.
Eligibility ke liye, Fund Management NBFC ko license ke liye apply karte waqt Form-II me clear mention karna hoga ke wo DAMS ke liye license lena chahta hai. SECP, agar satisfied ho, to AMS license grant kar sakta hai, lekin ye license sirf digital platforms ke zariye DAMS provide karne tak mehdood hoga.
Fund Management NBFC ko license ke sath viable business plan aur comprehensive financial projections bhi jama karna honge, jo business ke shuru hone ke 5 saal tak ke liye hon. Ye plan NBFC Regulations, Circulars, aur Directives ke mutabiq conventional AMC requirements ko bhi cover karega, jab tak ke SECP ne specifically modify ya relax na kiya ho.
