Securities and Exchange Commission of Pakistan (SECP) ne corporatization ko promote karne kay liye Institute of Chartered Accountants of Pakistan (ICAP) and Pakistan Institute of Development Economics (PIDE) kay sath collaboration kar kay ek Committee qaim ki.
SECP ne Automation kay through companies ki incorporation ko facilitate karne and processes ko streamline karne kay liye consistently reforms introduce karwai hain jin ka purpose Pakistan mein business start karne kay overall time ko reduce karna hai.
Resultantly total Registered Companies 200,000 ho gayi hain jisme se 99.8% companies online register ki gayi hain and 24% companies ne ek hi din mein registration complete ki.
Corporatization ko promote karne ki need hai takay obstacles ko identify kia ja sakay and inko address karne and sustainable economic development achieve karne kay liye concrete recommendation provide ki ja saken
Is Committee kay term of reference mein SECP, ICAP, and PIDE kay senior representatives shamil hain ye sustainable economic development kay liye existing regulatory structure ka review, impediments ko identify karna and fiscal reforms kay sath practical recommendation provide karne par consist hai.
SECP ne August 2023 mein 2,847 new Companies ko registere karwaya, jis se Total Registered Companies 200,629 ho gayi hain.
Incorporation mein last year same period kay comparison mein 20.6% increase record kiya gaya hai and 99.7% Companies ko online register kiya gaya. In Companies ki total capitalization Rs. 3.5 billion record ki gai.
Additionally, FBR and various provincial departments kay sath SECP kay registration system kay integration results mein 2,776 Companies ne FBR kay liye NTN register kiye, 83 Companies ne EOBI kay liye, 46 Companies ne PESSI/SESSI kay liye, and 49 Companies ne excise and taxation department kay saath registration karwai.
Foreign Countries se investors ne 69 new Companies mein invest kiya, jinme se China, Afghanistan, Australia, Egypt, Germany, Indonesia, Jordan, Kenya, Malaysia, Norway, Russia, Saudi Arabia, Turkey, UAE, UK, US and Uzbekistan kay investors shamil hain.
Sab se zyada investment China se aayi, jahan par 33 Companies mein invest kiya gaya, us kay baad US ne 9 companies mein, Afghanistan and UAE ne 4-4 companies mein, Australia, Egypt, Indonesia, Malaysia, Norway and Russia ne 2-2 companies mein invest kiya, and 7 companies mein other countries ne bhi invest kiya.
