Refinery policy abhi tak finalize nahi hui. Finance Minister ne local refineries ke liye incentives propose kiye hain aur is par faisla hona baqi hai. Agar manzoori di jati hai to is se local refineries dobara roshni mein aa jayegi.
Gas sector ke liye budget mein PKR 76bn ki subsidy bhi propose ki gayi hai jab ke PKR 230bn ke against Wazarat-e-Tawanai ki taraf se demand ki gai hai. Kam subsidy ka matlab gas companies ke liye kam cash flow ka masla hai kyun ke ab tamam efforts Government ke bajaye consumers se gas bills ke recover ke liye hongi. Is se energy chain ke cash flow mein mazeed improvement aye gi.

Modern refining sector nah sirf Economy allied aur down streams sectors ko tarqi ko barhaye ga, balkay industrial development ke liye bhi zaroori hoga jo economic growth ke liye zaroori hoti hai. Is ke elawa modernization se tamam stakeholders ke sath sath end consumers ko bhi benefits hasil hongay, kyon ki productivity ko behtar banaya jaye ga aur nearby area mein economic activities mein izafa hoga.
Refining sector ko new deep conversion refineries, petrochemical complexes, aur existing refineries ki upgradation ke liye billions of dollar ki investment ki zaroorat hai. Imported or manufactured goods par current heavy dependence ko kam karne aur is ke natije mein country ki valuable foreign exchange ki requirements par positive impact ke liye is development aur upgrade ki zaroorat hai.
Pakistan mein pipe lines aur storages development ke sath country ko necessary energy securities provide karegi. Is tarah refining sector ko new refineries mein capital investment laanay ke liye Government se taawun ki zaroorat hai.
Refining sector long-term policy taraqqi ke liye or effective implementation capital investment ko attract karne ke liye is tarah ki long-term policy aur is ke liye refining sector ke sustainable growth ki zaroorat hai.
