Pakistan Refinery Limited (PRL) ke senior management ne haal hi mein China ka daura kiya, jahan unhoon ne Engineering, Procurement, aur Construction (EPC) contractors aur financial institutions se mulaqat ki.
Ye discussions bohot hi productive rahi, aur PRL ke Refinery Expansion & Upgrade Project (REUP) ke agle marahil ke liye zameen hamwar ki gayi. Chinese companies ne PRL ke sath is mega project mein collaboration mein bohot dilchaspi dikhayi.
REUP project PRL ke liye ek bara initiative hai, jiska maqsad refinery ki crude processing capacity ko 50,000 barrels per day (bpd) se barhakar 100,000 bpd karna hai. Is expansion ke sath state-of-the-art Deep Conversion Refinery configuration bhi apnayi jayegi.
Upgraded refinery advanced technology ka istemal karegi taake stringent environmental standards ko pura kiya ja sake, jisme EURO V standard fuels ki production bhi shamil hai. Is se PRL ki operational efficiency aur environmental footprint mein zabardast behteri aayegi.
“PRL Pakistan mein sab refineries se aage hai apne Refinery Expansion & Upgrade Project ke lehaz se,” Zahid Mir, Managing Director & CEO of PRL ne kaha. “China mein EPC contractors ke sath meetings bohot positive rahi. Humne ek comprehensive plan develop kiya hai taake is saal ke akhir tak EPC contract award kiya ja sake aur agle saal ke darmiyan project ka financial close achieve kiya ja sake. In discussions se milne wali feedback bohot supportive rahi.”
In strategic meetings ke ilawa, PRL ne Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA) ke sath bhi proactively engagement kiya hai taake ek supplementary agreement sign kiya ja sake. PRL ne existing agreements mein amendments ki request ki hai taake updated brownfield policy ke sath align kiya ja sake. Ye qadam project ke successful implementation aur long-term sustainability ke liye regulatory support secure karne ke liye bohot zaroori hai.
Refinery Expansion & Upgrade Project Pakistan ke energy infrastructure mein ek bara investment hai. Capacity double karne, value-added products produce karne, aur international environmental standards ka paalan karne, jisme EURO V compliant MS aur HSD ki production bhi shamil hai, PRL apni position ko global energy market mein mazboot karna chahta hai aur mulk ki economic growth mein aham kirdar ada karna chahta hai.
