National Accounts Committee (NAC) ne FY2025 ke liye revised GDP growth 3.04% approve kar di, jo pehle ke 2.68% estimate se behtar hai. Committee ka 114th meeting Planning Ministry ke Secretary ki sarbarahi me hui.
Naye data ke mutabiq, Q4 me economy 5.66% grow hui, jis se saal bhar ki growth improve hui. Sector-wise growth: Agriculture 1.51%, Industry 5.26%, aur Services 3.0% rahi.
Economic size ab Rs113.7 trillion (US$407.2 billion) ho gaya hai aur per capita income Rs506,188 (US$1,812) tak barh gayi hai.
Industrial sector ne 19.95% ki tezi dikhai, khas taur par electricity, gas & water supply (121%) aur construction (17.65%) me growth hui. Agriculture me important crops gire -17.55%, lekin other crops 17.99% barhi.
Services sector ne bhi 3.72% ki growth dikhai, jis me finance & insurance (6.81%), public administration (12.87%) aur transportation (4.06%) ka acha kirdar raha.
FY2024 ke liye GDP growth 2.58% tak revise hui (pehle 2.51%). NAC ne PBS, Planning Ministry, Finance Ministry aur State Bank of Pakistan ke kaam ko saraha.
