Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX) ne apne record-breaking streak ko Wednesday ko bhi barqarar rakha, jis mein KSE-100 index ne intra-day trading ke dauran naya all-time high 91,872.63 points ka mukam hasil kiya.
Yeh 0.74% ka izafa hai, yaani 672.64 points ka faraq, jo pehle ke close 90,864.09 points se barh kar Pakistani stock market ke tareekhi record ka naya benchmark set karta hai.
Market ne mazbooti ke sath shuruat ki aur 91,872.63 points tak pohanch gayi, lekin uske baad thoda decline dekha gaya aur index 91,368.19 points tak aa gaya.
Subah ke waqat kuch decline bhi hua, jab KSE-100 index 10:40am par 91,250.12 points tak pohanch gaya tha.
Yeh tareekhi kaam Tuesday ke zabardast rally ke baad aaya, jab index 650 points se zyada barh kar 90,864.09 par close hua tha.
Investors ka optimism aur barhta hua hai, jis ki wajah strong corporate earnings aur State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) ke taraf se expected policy rate cut ki afwahain hain, jo agle hafte ke shuru mein announce ho sakti hain.
Tuesday ke session mein bhi pehle decline dekha gaya tha, jab KSE-100 ne intra-day low 90,449.41 points tak touch kiya, lekin phir rebound karte hue intra-day high 91,358.15 points tak chala gaya, jo ke PSX ki tareekhi 91,000-point barrier ko pehli baar torne wala mukam tha.
Index ne is milestone ke thoda neeche settle kiya. Analysts ka kehna hai ke Tuesday ke izafe ka sabab banking aur fertilizer stocks mein foreign interest tha, saath hi favorable lending conditions ke jawab mein institutional buying bhi dekhi gayi.
“Stocks ne naya all-time high haasil kiya jab investors ne mazboot financial results ka jaiza liya aur SBP ki taraf se policy rate reduction ki afwahein maani,” Ahsan Mehanti, Managing Director of Arif Habib Corp ne kaha.
