Pakistan ke current account ne chand mahinon ke deficit ke baad November 2023 mein $9 million ka surplus show kiya hai, jo ke pichle saal is hi mahine mein darj hone wale $157 million ke deficit ke comparative hai, according to State Bank of Pakistan (SBP).
June 2023 ke baad Yeh pehla surplus hai, but amount me us waqt se $520 million kam hai.
Yeh surplus tab paida hua jab mulk ki exports aur remittances mein izafah hua, jabke imports mein halki si kami hui.
Pakistan ka current account deficit October 2023 mein $184 million tha.
Central Bank ke data ke mutabiq, Country exports November 2023 mein $3.364 billion thi, jabke November 2022 mein yeh $2.999 billion tha, jis me 12% se zyada increase hua. Ek saal ke doran, mulk ki remittances November 2023 mein $2.25 billion rahi, jabke pichle saal is hi mahine mein yeh $2.17 billion thi, jo ke 4% se thora sa increase hua hai.
Dusri taraf, total imports November 2023 mein $5.29 billion se kam hokar $5.01 billion ho gayi, jo ke ek saal pehle ke mukablay mein approx 6% se kam hai.
SBP ke mutabiq, Pakistan ne FY24 ke July-November mein $1.16 billion ka current account deficit record kiya hai, jabke pichle saal is hi doran yeh $3.3 billion tha, jo ke ek bohot bara decrease hai, takreeban $2 billion ya 64% kam.
Central Bank ne apni 12 December ko ki gayi Monetary Policy Committee (MPC) meeting mein current account balance mein mazeed behtari note ki hai, jab ke Jul-Oct FY24 mein deficit year-on-year 65.9% se kam hokar $1.1 billion raha.
Current account cash-strapped Pakistan ke liye ek ahem shumar hai jo apni economy chalane ke liye imports par bohot zyada depend karta hai. Barhta hua deficit exchange rate par dabao dalta hai aur official foreign exchange reserves ko bhi kam karta hai, jinke haalat ab kuch zyada $7 billion ke qareeb hai, jo ke akhri maalumat ke mutabiq hai.
