Pakistan Hotels Developers Limited (PHDL) ko Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX) ke Non-Compliant (Winding-up) Segment mein daal diya gaya hai, company ke voluntary winding-up proceedings shuru karne ke faislay ke baad. Yeh resolution company ki Extra Ordinary General Meeting (EOGM) mein 31 December 2024 ko pass kiya gaya tha, aur 1 January 2025 ko Pakistan Unified Corporate Action Reporting System (PUCARS) ke zariye announce kiya gaya.
PSX ne clarify kiya ke voluntary winding-up proceedings shuru karne ke liye special resolution pass karne par company ko Winding-up Segment mein daal diya jata hai, aur shares ki trading suspension ho jati hai, jo ke PSX Regulations ke Clause 5.11.2(d) ke tehat hota hai.
PSX ne yeh bhi bataya ke PHDL ke shares ki trading 10 January 2025 se SPOT (T+0) settlement pe shift ho jayegi, aur 21 January 2025 se trading bilkul suspend ho jayegi.
Regulatory requirements ke mutabiq, PSX apne regulations ke tehat further action lega jab PHDL ke liye liquidator ya official liquidator appoint kiya jayega. Stakeholders aur market participants ko in developments ki ittila di gayi hai.
Is se pehle, 2 December ko PHDL Board ne apni operations ko voluntarily wind up karne ke plans finalize kiye the, jo ke shareholder approval ke liye tha. Winding-up process ka hissa ban kar, Board ne solvency ka declaration approve kiya tha, jo ke Companies (Court) Rules, 1997 ke Rule 269 ke tehat PHDL ki liabilities settle karne ki ability confirm karta hai.
Board ne dissolution process ko manage karne ke liye paanch liquidators ki appointment ki bhi tajwez di thi. Is team mein Mohsin Ferozuddin, Masroor F. Baweja, Muzaffar Baweja, Zaheer Baweja, aur Zubairuddin Baweja shamil hain.
