IMF Staff aur Pakistani authorities ne staff-level agreement ko finalize karliya, jo Stand-By Arrangement (SBA) ke tahat support ki jayegi. Ye staff-level agreement IMF Executive Board ki acceptance par consider hai, aur iski consideration mid-July tak expected hai.
Washington: International Monetary Fund (IMF) Staff team jis ko Mr. Nathan Porter lead kar rahy hain ne Pakistani authorities ke saath in-person aur virtual meetings ki, jahan Pakistan ke liye ek new financing engagement ke liye discussion ki gayi IMF Stand-by Arrangement (SBA) ke tahat.
Mr. Porter ne ye statement jari kiya:
“Mujhe khushi hai ke IMF ki team ne Pakistani Authorities ke saath SDR 2,250 million (approx $3 billion or Pakistan ke IMF qouta ki 111 percent) ke barabar nine-month tak Stand-by Arrangement (SBA) par staff-level agreement tak pohanch gayi hai. New SBA pehle Pakistan ke 2019 EFF-supported program ki Authorities ki efforts par se hue hai, jo June ke end tak khatam ho raha hai.
Ye agreement IMF ke Executive Board ki approval par hai, jiski consideration mid-July tak karna expected hai”.
