Karachi: Maple Leaf Cement Factory Limited (MLCF) ne Monday ko apni company mein chand aham appointments ka elan kiya.
Company ne yeh update di ke company ke Board of Directors ne Tariq Sayeed Saigol ko dobara Chairman of the Board ke taur par appoint kiya, jo ek Non-Executive Director hain.
Iske ilawa, Sayeed Tariq Saigol ko company ka Chief Executive Officer (CEO) agle teen saal ke liye appoint kiya gaya, jo 1 January 2026 se effective hai.
MLCF, Kohinoor Maple Leaf Group ki flagship company hai, jo textiles, cement, capital markets aur healthcare mein kaam karti hai.
Company Pakistan ka sabse bara single-site cement facility operate karti hai, jis mein 4 grey-cement production lines aur 1 white-cement line shamil hain, jis ka total installed clinker capacity 7.8 million tons per annum hai.
Pichle mahine, MLCF ne Pioneer Cement Limited (PIOC) ka 11.72% stake Rs478.43 per share par acquire karne ke liye public offer launch ki, jisse pehle 58.03% stake purchase karne ka agreement ho chuka tha.
Yeh combined transaction, jo PIOC ke 69.75% shares ka hissa hai, Rs75.8 billion ($270.5 million) ki value rakhti hai.
