Meeting me Pakistan ke Foreign Secretary, Dr. Asad Majeed Khan aur Iran ke Deputy Foreign Minister Ali Bagheri Kani ke sath dono taraf se assigned senior officials ne b participate kia.
During the meeting, both countries ne previous Bilateral Political Consultations mein kiye gaye decisions ka review kia. Regional situation par b detail mein views exchange kiye gye. Both sides ke mutual interest ke according strong relations built karne ke liye Joint Economic Commission (JEC) aur Joint Trade Committee (JTC) jaise kai institutional mechanisms ki importance per focus kia gaya.
Pakistan aur Iran ne apne cooperation ko strength dene ke liye committed hain jis mein United Nations (UN), Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) aur Economic Cooperation Organization (ECO) jaise multilateral forums mein multilateral corporations continue karne mein interest show kia.
Further, Pakistan ke Foreign Secretary ne Economic Cooperation Organization (ECO) ke Secretary General, Khosrav Noziri se bhi meeting ki aur Pakistan ka is organisation ko support karne ka interest show kiya. Is context main inho ne ECO k states members ke between intra-regional connectivity and trade promotions ki importance ko highlight kiya.
