ISLAMABAD: Minister for Finance aur Revenue senator Mohammad Ishaq Dar ne Friday ko Federal government employees ki barhti hui inflation se Financial hardships ka ehsas karte hue ad-hoc basis par salaries mein 30-35% aur pansions mein 17.5% increase karne ke liye proposal pesh kiya hai.
Federal Budget 2023-24 mein present karte hue, wazir ne kaha ke hukumat ne Grade 1-16 ke employees ki 35% aur Grade-17-22 ke employees ki 30% ad-hoc relief dene ka faisla kiya hai, jis ka maqsad unke purchase power ko increase karna hai.
Unho ne ICT mein minimum pension Rs 12,000 aur minimum monthly wage Rs 25,000 se barha kar Rs 32,000 karne ki bhi announcement ki hai.
Minister ne kaha ke Employees‘ Old-Age Benefits Institution (EOBI) ki pension Rs 8,500 se badha kar Rs 10,000 karne ka proposal hai.
Ishaq Dar ne kaha ke government ek scheme introduce karegi jis ke a/c woh khud Housing Building Finance Corporation (HBFC) ke 1 million rupay tak ke loan maaf karegi jo kisi government employee ki biwi ke naam par hain.
Mazeed kaha ke CDNS (Central Directorate of National Savings) Shuhada Account aur Behbood Saving Certificates ki deposit limit 5 lakh rupay se badha kar 7.5 lac rupay kar di jayegi
