Islamabad: Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) ne financial year 2025-26 ki pehli shishmahi (July–December) aur December 2025 ke mahine ke tax targets achieve nahi kiye.
Darmiyani data ke mutabiq, December 2025 mein FBR ko 21 billion rupees ka revenue shortfall face karna pada. Is mahine FBR ne 1,425 billion rupees ki interim net tax collection ki, jab ke target 1,446 billion rupees tha.
Full first half (July–December) mein FBR ki total interim net tax collection 6,169 billion rupees rahi, jo target 6,490 billion rupees se 321 billion kam hai.
Pichle paanch mahon mein shortfall 315 billion rupees tha jo December ke baad aur barh gaya. Sources ke mutabiq final data ke baad shortfall mein thodi kami ho sakti hai, lekin overall situation abhi bhi tashweesh ka sabab hai.
