Fauji Cement Company Limited (FCCL) ne bataya he ke 30 November 2023 ko Shadan Lund, District Dera Ghazi Khan mein apna Greenfield Cement Manufacturing Plant kamyabi se shuru kardia gaya hai. Is plant ki rozana manufacturing capacity 6,500 tons clinker ki hai.
Is naye line ke shuru hone se company ki kul cement production capacity 10.6 million tons per annum hogai hai, aur Fauji Cement Company ko mulk mein teesre baray cement bananay wale local ranks mein shamil kar dia gaya hai. Yeh Greenfield Project sirf 13 mahinay mein mukammal hokar tay hogaya hai.
Is project mein state of the art manufacturing equipment aur emissions control features shaamil hain, sath hi Waste Heat Recovery Power Plant bhi mojood hai. Shadan Lund ke is ghareeb ilaqe mein is naye Cement Plant ke shuru hone se local logon ko rozgar milay ga, aur ilaqay ki taraqqi mein bhi madad hogi.
Fauji Cement ne is corporate zimmedari ke mutabiq pehle hi plant ki shuruwat se pehle saaf pani, healthcare, aur bijli ke bina par musallas ilaqay mein solar systems ke zariye madad faraham karnay jese CSR projects shuru kar diye hain.
