ISLAMABAD: Customs Enforcement Quetta ne do bare anti-smuggling operations ke duran 2.75 lakh litre smuggled diesel aur do prime movers baramad kar liye, jinki kul qimatt takreeban Rs. 190 million batayi ja rahi hai.
News release ke mutabiq, 11 diesel-bharay gaariyan coordinated raids mein intercept ki gayin.
Yeh karwai Collector Customs Enforcement Quetta ki credible intelligence par ki gayi, jisme enforcement teams ko dusri law enforcement agencies ka bhi poora taawun hasil tha.
Karwai ke natijay mein smuggled diesel, trucks aur prime movers qabzay mein le liye gaye hain aur un par Customs Act, 1969 ke tehat qanooni action shuru kar diya gaya hai.
Customs Collectorate ke mutabiq, yeh operations smuggling ke khatma aur illegal trade networks ko torne ke liye chalayi gayi intensified enforcement drive ka hissa hain.
FBR ne Quetta Enforcement team ki performance ko appreciate kia hai aur smuggling, illicit trade aur unlawful economic activities ke khilaf apne azm ko dobara dohraya hai.
