Attock Refinery Limited (ARL) ne apni main distillation unit (32,400 BPD) ko 6 September 2024 se temporary tor par band kar diya hai. Yeh suspension, unit ki instrumentation ke upgrade ke liye ki gayi hai, jiska maqsad refinery ki overall performance aur efficiency ko mazeed behtar banana hai.
ARL ki taraf se diya gaya yeh faisla is waqt liya gaya jab refinery ke HSD (High-Speed Diesel) stocks critically high levels par pohnch gaye the, jo ke refinery ke shutdown ka sabab ban sakte the. Yeh upgrade plan kiya gaya tha, magar HSD stocks aur ullage ki present situation ke sabab se unit ko temporarily shutdown karna para. Unit ko dobara restart tab kiya jayega jab HSD stocks aur ullage ki situation behtar hogi.
Shut down ke doran, ARL ne apni normal product supplies aur crude receipts jaari rakhne ka irada kiya hai. Company ne iss baat ka bhi ahad kiya hai ke kisi bhi disruption ko roknay ke liye zaroori steps liye jayenge taake supply chain aur production processes smooth aur seamless rahen.
Yeh temporary suspension ARL ki long-term operational strategies ka hissa hai, jo ke refinery ke operational standards aur product quality ko mazeed improve karne ke liye zaroori hai. Refinery ka yeh upgrade plan future me mazeed effective operations ko ensure karega.
