Islamabad:
Asian Development Bank (ADB) ne Pakistani maishat mein numaya behtari ka aitiraf karte hue, rawan mali saal ke doran Pakistan ki maashi taraqqi ki raftaar 3% tak pohanchne ki peshgoi kar di hai.
ADB ne apni Asia Development Outlook Report jari kar di. Is report ke mutabiq, pehle September mein GDP growth ka andaza 2.8% lagaya gaya tha, jo ab 3% tak pohanchne ki umeed hai.
Report ki tafseelat:
- IMF ke naye qarz program ki manzoori ke baad Pakistan mein macroeconomic stability aayi hai.
- Mehngai mein umeed se zyada tez kami dekhi gayi hai, November mein inflation 4.9% (6 saal ki sabse kam surface) par aagayi.
- Ab rawan mali saal mehngai ki sharah 10 % rehne ka andaza hai, jo pehle 15% thi.
Import restrictions khatam hone ka asar:
- Industrial sector apni raftaar tezi se pakrega.
- Policy rate mein kami se maashi sargrami barhne ki umeed hai.
- Investors ka confidence barhne aur foreign exchange reserves tak asan rasai ka bhi zikar kiya gaya hai.
Challenges:
Report mein kaha gaya hai ke recent monsoon rains ki waja se agriculture sector ki performance kamzor rehne ka khatra hai, khas kar gandum aur kapas ki paidawar ke liye.
Asia-wide analysis:
ADB ki report ke mutabiq, Sri Lanka ki maishat mein bhi behtari ki umeed hai, jab ke India, Bangladesh aur Maldives ki GDP growth mein kami ka andaza lagaya gaya hai. Iske ilawa, US policies mein tabdili se Asia ka region bhi mutasir ho sakta hai.
