Islamabad : Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank (AIIB) ke Vice President Konstantin Limitovskiy ne aaj Federal Minister for Economic Affairs Ahad Khan Cheema se mulaqat ki, jis mein AIIB ke Pakistan mein mojooda projects, pipeline portfolio, aur naye financing ke mauqe par guftagu hui.
Economic Affairs Division ki taraf se jari ki gayi press release ke mutabiq, is mulaqat mein Secretary Economic Affairs Division bhi shamil thay.
Is moqe par Cheema ne AIIB ke Pakistan ke liye istihkam bhare support, khaaskar 2022 ke selab ke doran madad ke liye shukriya ada kiya. Unhone Bank ke investments ko saraha aur mashwara diya ke jab Pakistan mein AIIB ka investment volume barhta hai toh Bank apni senior level presence Pakistan mein mazid barhaye.
Wazeer Cheema ne Project Preparation Special Fund (PPSF) ke liye AIIB ke commitment ko bhi saraha, jo ke N-5 Project ke tayyari ka kaam hai, aur AIIB ke financing aur progress se apne itminan ka izhar kiya.
Minister ne kaha ke N-5 Project mein AIIB ka kirdar is project ki kamiyabi mein badi ahmiyat rakhta hai.
Government ke ilaqai connectivity aur iqtisadi taraqqi ke maqasid ko ujaagar karte hue, Minister Cheema ne AIIB ke infrastructure development mein support ko Pakistan ke liye qadardan karar diya. Unhone Bank se darkhwast ki ke Karachi-Peshawar Motorway (PKM) ke Sukkur-Hyderabad section (M-6) ke financing par bhi ghor kare, jo Karachi se Peshawar tak motorway network ko mukammal karega.
Secretary Economic Affairs Division ne bhi AIIB ko Pakistan mein apna portfolio barhane ka mashwara diya aur N-5 ko Government ke liye ek high-priority project qarar diya.
Mulaqat ke doran AIIB ke Vice President Limitovskiy ne Economic Affairs Division ke project review process par bharosa zahir kiya aur umeed ki ke tamaam masail bar waqt hal ho jayenge. Unhone N-5 Project ko apni taraf se bhi priority par rakhne ka aelan kiya aur Pakistan ke sath Bank ke portfolio mein taraqqi ko saraha.
Limitovskiy ne Pakistan ke energy transmission sector mein future investments ke liye bhi AIIB ki dilchaspi zahir ki.
