Karachi: Thatta Cemenet ke Board of Directors ne ek naya wind power project manzoor kar diya hai jiski installed capacity 7.5 MW hogi. Yeh faisla 4.8 MW ke pehle wind power project ki kamyab takmeel aur commissioning ke baad kiya gaya.
Naye project ki completion ke baad company ki total renewable energy capacity 17.3 MW ho jayegi, jis me do wind power projects (4.8 MW aur 7.5 MW) aur ek mojooda 5 MW ka solar power project shamil hai.
Is tosee se company ke energy mix mein renewable energy ka hissa numaya tor par barh jayega aur sustainable environmental practices ke liye company ke azm ko mazid mustahkam karega. Renewable energy projects mein ki gayi is investment se kafi cost savings ki umeed hai jab ke mulk ki fossil fuels par inhisar kam karne mein bhi madad milegi.
