Karachi: SG Power Limited (SGPL) ke Board of Directors ne 24 December 2025 ko ek emergent meeting mein Company ke long-term growth objectives ke liye aham strategic initiatives ko approve kiya.
Board ne shareholders ki approval ke mutabiq Company ke principle business line ko badalne ki manzoori di, jis me shamil hai: investment aur holding activities; technology-driven platforms ka development, promotion aur operation; digital, Fintech aur innovation-based services ke zariye joint ventures aur mutaliqa aur allied businesses.
Company ke future objectives ko support karne ke liye Board ne Authorized Share Capital ko PKR 10 billion tak barhane ki bhi manzoori di, jo zarurat par phases mein barhaayi jaayegi.
Iske alawa, Board ne Crescent Star Technologies (Pvt.) Limited (CST) mein 51% equity stake acquire karne ki bhi manzoori di, jabke bacha hua 49% CSIL ke paas rahega, subject to necessary approvals. SGPL aur CSIL CST ke zariye digital aur virtual asset-related activities ke liye Pakistan Virtual Assets Regulatory Authority (PVARA) ya kisi aur authority se application karne ka detailed proposal develop karenge.
Board ne CEO aur Company Secretary ko in steps ko undertake karne ka ikhtiyar bhi de diya hai.
