Islamabad: International Monetary Fund (IMF) ki sharait ke tehat Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) ne Pakistan ke mukhtalif sectors ka audit tezi se karne ka faisla kiya hai.
FBR ke sources ke mutabiq:
- Bade shehron jaise Karachi, Lahore, aur Islamabad me doctors aur bare beauty parlors ab FBR ke radar par hain.
- In shehron ke 250 mehenge doctors ki aamdani ka pehla audit shuru kar diya gaya hai.
- Mehenge beauty parlors aur expensive cosmetics sellers ko bhi tax net me laya jayega.
- Paint industry me tax evasion rokne ke liye private companies ka audit bhi shuru kiya ja raha hai.
Audit ke liye 600 private auditors ki services hasil ki ja chuki hain, jab ke agle chand dino me 200 aur auditors hire kiye jayenge. Total 2,000 private auditors hire karne ka plan hai, jo tamam taxpayer information ko confidential rakhenge.
FBR ka kehna hai ke yeh measures IMF ke strict reforms aur Pakistan ke tax compliance ko mazboot karne ke liye ja rahe hain.
