Silkbank Limited ke Board of Directors ne, board meeting mein United Bank Limited (UBL) ke saath merger ka in-principle approval de diya hai. Yeh merger State Bank of Pakistan ke Banking Companies Ordinance, ke tehat sanction hone wale scheme of arrangement ke mutabiq hoga.
Board ne Silkbank ke CEO ko ye bhi authorize kiya hai ke wo advisors aur consultants ke sath engage hoon taake UBL ki taraf se aayi hui offer ko evaluate karein aur Board ke samnay apni findings ko mazeed ghor ke liye pesh karein.
Yeh merger abhi tak finalization of deal terms, transaction documents aur tamam corporate aur regulatory approvals aur authorizations ke intezar mein hai.
Silkbank apne shareholders ko mazeed announcements ke zariye update rakhega jab bhi is maamle mein koi progress hogi.
