Federal Government ne International Monetary Fund (IMF) ke mutalabay par Pakistan ke insurance sector mein behtari ke liye insurance se mutaliq teen ahem draft laws mutarif karwanay ka faisla kiya hai. Is maqsad ke liye Securities & Exchange Commission of Pakistan (SECP) ne insurance se mutaliq teen ahem draft laws tayar kar liye hain.
Yeh draft ab federal cabinet se approval ke baad parliament mein pesh kiya jaega.
Insurance sector ki restructuring se mulk mein business karna asaan ho jayega. Insurance sector ko Ministry of Commerce se Ministry of Finance ke under laya jaega, aur SECP ko is ka regulator banaya jaega.
Proposed law ke mutabiq, ab consumers apni shikayatein seedha regulator ko de sakenge, aur tamam sarkari insurance companies ki privatization ki jayegi.
Gaariyon ki third-party insurance ka law bhi jald aane wala hai aur is par subon ke saath discussion jari hai.
