Mari Petroleum Company Limited (MPCL) ne Sindh mein Mari Development and Production Lease (D&PL) ke Ghazij Formation mein 4th appraisal well successfully drill aur test kar lia hai.
Yeh well, Ghazij discovery ke appraisal program ka hissa hai jo 25 January 2023 ko disclose kiya gaya tha. Yeh well 21 April 2024 ko spud kiya gaya aur 1,006 meters ki gehraai tak drill kiya gaya.
Well ka post-acid gas flow rate 5.0 million standard cubic feet per day (MMSCFD) tha aur wellhead flowing pressure 363 psi tha, 128/64-inch choke size par. Regulatory formalities ke baad yeh well production par lagaya jayega.
MPCL Mari D&PL ka operator hai aur is mein 100% working interest rakhta hai.
