Pakistan ke Securities and Exchange Commission (SECP) ne illegal loan apps ke khilaf karwai ko mazeed intensify kiya hai. SECP ne identify kia hai ke kuch operators ab ye illegal loan apps Android Package Kit (APK) files aur alternative channels jaise websites aur WhatsApp ke zariye distribute kar rahe hain, Google aur Apple Play stores par upload karne ke bajaye.
SECP ne ,warning di hai ke woh official App Store ke ilawa illegal apps download na karen, kyun ke ye users ke liye bara risk hai, jaise ke fraud, personal information ka galat istemal, blackmailing aur harassment.
Isi ke jawab mein, SECP ne kai websites par promote hone wale 7 illegal apps ko pehchan liya hai. Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) aur Pakistan Telecommunication Authority (PTA) ke saath milkar, SECP ne in apps ke khilaf karwai shuru ki hai.
Changes jo illegal apps ki distribution technique mein aayi hai, ye SECP, Google, FIA, aur PTA ke saath mil kar illegal lending apps ke against action ke natijay mein aayi hai, jis mein Google aur Apple App stores se 120 illegal apps ko hata diya gaya. Illegal apps ki updated list SECP ki website par mojud hai, aur awaam ko salah di gayi hai ke woh apni safety ke liye sirf SECP ki manzoori shuda personal loan apps hi download karen.
