OGDCL ne Siab-1 well mein production enhancement ka purpose achieve kar liya hai jo Baratai Block mein Kohat district, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province mein located hai.
Well ek joint venture kay tehet operate hota hai jahan OGDCL as a operator 97.5% stake rakhta hai jabkay Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Oil & Gas Company Limited (KPOGCL) 2.5% share rakhta hai.
Siab-1 well ne Lockhart formation se 125 BPD condensate and 6.2 MMSCFD gas flow rates ko record kiya hai. well OGDCL Dhok Hussain Field kay through operate hota hai.
Lockhart formation mein rigless intervention kay through production enhancement strategy production successfully implement karne ki waja se hydrocarbon production mein substantial increase kiya gaya hai, jis mein 265 BPD oil and 14.3 MMSCFD gas ki additional production WHFP 4300 PSI par hui hai. Yeh additional gas production SNGPL network mein inject kiya ja raha hai.
Well se production enhanced 28 August 2023 se start hui. Ab well se cumulative production 20.5 MMSCFD gas and 390 BPD oil hai.
