ISLAMABAD: Ministry of Climate Change and Environmental Coordination (MoCCC) ne 2022 mein Pakistan ka first ever National Inventory for Short-Lived Climate Pollutants (SLCP) develop kiya hai.
Economic Survey 2022-23 ke according inventory ne priority action ki identification ki hai jismein vehicle ki inspection aur maintenance ki development, Euro-5 ya Euro-6 tak fuel ki upgrade quality ke standards ki improvement, 2 to 3 wheeler electric vehicle ka introduction, mass transit systems ka development and improvement, traffic management planning ka improvement, railways, maritime aur aviation sectors mein low carbon fuel efficient infrastructure aur technology ka promotion, aur urban forestry aur green spaces ke management ka promotion.
Is ke alawa, yeh emission control bhi industry mein emission standards ke saath compliance ke through, brick kilns ko clean technologies aur practices ke saath upgradation aur management, crop burning ko band karne aur alternatives ko promote karne, threshing aur tilling se emissions ko control karne, forest fires ko effective management ke through minimize aur control karne, open waste burning ko prohibition karne, waste management ko improve karne, improved aur efficient cookstoves ko use karne ke through indoor air pollution ko kam karne mein shamil tha.
Ye demand bhi karti thi ki indoor heating aur cooking ke liye clean energy ki access ko promote kare, energy efficiency ko promote kare aur alternate energy ko sabhi sectors mein use kare aur industrial sectors mein clean energy ko promote kare.
