April-23 Cement Dispatches – lowest in 9 months
According to JS Global report 23 May 2023: Apr-23 mein cement ki dispatches 2.9 million tons (-17% YoY) tak paunchy, jis se 10MFY23 ki total dispatches 36.5 million tons ho gayi, jis mein 18% ki kami hai YoY. Political situation and uncertain economy ki waja se construction activities mein kami hui hai. Tezi se barhte hue construction costs aur high financial cost ki wajah se dispatch mein kami hui hai.
Richard Bay Coal ki prices Sep-2022 kay high se abhi tk 70% tak down ho chuki hai, Globally low demand and better supply ki waja Richard Bay coal ki price me kami ki waja bani.
International coal price mein continuously decline aur coming year mein volume mein anticipated related improvement ki wajah se, sector ke numayaan rehne ki expectations hai.
Apr-2023 ke month mein cement dispatches 2.9 million tons batai gayi hai, jo 17% YoY kami ko show karti hai . Dispatches mein bhi MoM basis par 22% kami hui. Apr-2023 ke liye total dispatches last nine months mein sab se Kam thee. FY23 ke 10 months ke liye cumulative figure 36.5 million tons rahe, jo ke ek saal ke doraan 18% kam hai, construction activities mein slow-down ki waja uncertain economic aur political situation, high inflation ki wajah se material costs aur high financing costs hai.

Early September 2022 kay peak US$360/ton se Global Coal Market mein African coal price mein 70% kami hui hai jis ki waja Russia aur Ukraine ke darmiyan conflict hai. Richard Bay coal prices mein previous year mein significant izafa hua hai.
Pakistan ke cement manufacturers taham kai months tak prices me kami se mukamal tor par faida uthane ka imkan nahi hai. Hamare khayal mein import restrictions ki wajah Is wajah se, zyadatar cement producers ne recent quarters mein Afghan coal aur local coal ki consumption mein izafa kiya hai. Haal hi mein LC establishment condition mein kuch aasaani ke sath, local cement companies, khas tor par south mein, Richard Bay coal ki low prices ka faida uthana chahein gi – jiska asar mumkinha tor par 1QFY24 mein zahir hoga.
Local alternatives ke muqable mein, South African Coal ko ek consistent product quality aur reliable supply chain ke tor par dekha jata hai.
